Poker hand rankings

The rule of poker hands below are ranked from highest (royal flush) to lowest (high card). This general rule of poker hands applies to every online poker card game; play money or poker for real money.

1
Royal Flush
This is the best poker hand you can have.
Ex: Ten, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace of the same suit.
2
Straight Flush
Five cards, all of the same suit that are in sequence bot not starting with the Ace
3
Four-of-a-Kind
Four cards of equal rank
4

Full House
Three cards of equal rank, and two different cards of the equal rank. (Three of a kind and a pair)

5
Flush
Any five cards of the same suit.
6
Straight
Five cards of mixed suits, in sequence.
7
Three-of-a-Kind
Any three cards of equal rank.
8
Two Pair
Two cards of equal rank and a different two cards of equal rank.
9
One Pair
Two cards of equal rank.
10
High Card
Known as a 'Busted Hand'. Five unrelated cards – no pair, no flush, no straight. Nothing.

If two or more hands are the same ranking, the winner is the one having the higher cards. For example, a Flush with an Ace high beats a Flush with a King high. If the poker hands remain tied, then the highest card not being held in common (the kicker) determines the winner.
